New family!

I switched to my second hostfamily on the 2nd of January, which felt a little bit sad, but it is a common saying that your exchange year is just one big goodbye and I am still really excited to experience a different lifestyle. Luckily it is not too different since my second host family, Dave and Arden, live about a 100 feet away from my first one, so I am still taking the same bus, walking the same way to the bus and live in the same neighborhood. I have met Dave and Arden before since they took me to see the Eagles game and get a legit Philly cheese steak and they are really nice and awesome people and I am definetly looking forward to living with them. Nevertheless I am going to miss my old family, and I can't thank them enough for giving me so many cool experiences, making me feel at home and giving me the best possible start to my exchange year, there is probably a reason that I have not felt homesick even once and even said no thanks when my parents offered me a visit because they drove straight through the state, and that is because of the Jalboots! Thank you so much.

My old house is right nearby.
