Prom and Penn State

As I said, April have been a cool month! I went to see the 76'ers play, had Easter and so much more! the 22nd of April Corri, Kyle, their nieces and me went to Penn State's campus to see the Blue and White Night game and just to see the campus. It was far away, almost 3 hours in a car, but nevertheless it was really cool and I am really glad I got to see it. I have over the year grown very fond of Penn State and their football team, and especially their Quarterback Trace Mcsorley, it was awesome to see him play in person. I had a great time and enjoyed Penn State a lot! Thank you Kyle and Corri.

Then the weekend after Penn State things got really exciting, it was prom! Everyone talks about prom when they hear you are going to the U.S. on your exchange, so there have been a lot of buildup towards prom for me. Me and my friend Zach got really nice tuxedo's and picked them up thursday. I was really excited and felt like the school days were immensely long. Finally it was saturday. I woke up early since I had some nerves and could not sleep, I went to pick up my flowers for my date and then I tried my best to relax untill Zach would pick me up. Kyle and Corri were unfortunately not home, because they were working so they did not get the chance to take pictures with me.

When Zach picked me up we took off to Lake Nockamixon, which is a state park close to Quakertown, all the Juniors went to Nockamixon's pier and took pictures there before going to Lehigh University where the prom itself was. The weather was really hot, so standing outside in a black tuxedo was unbearable, and I don't think I've ever been drinking that much water. Nevertheless the weather was perfect for pictures.

My prom date is a girl named Victoria, she is really nice and sweet and looked amazing in her dress. She is a good friend of one of my friends, and then we started talking and I asked her to prom.

The prom itself was really awesome, the view up at Lehigh University was amazing and we just danced all night to loud music. The prom started at 6 and ended at 10 so it was short, but nevertheless I had a great time dancing. After prom I slept over at Zach's house and we just went straight to bed and slept untill 10 the next day. We returned our tuxedo's sunday, and I went home to catch some Z's.

Later at night sunday, we went over to Kyle's sisters house, where the whole family was and we just sat outside, enjoyed the weather and had a great time.
